1. Waitress was excellent. Sweet and kind. 2. Food was great! 3. The reason for the 2 star is the “Chef” has an ego problem with the “Special”. God forbid you ask to substitute the “fried” potatoes with “mashed” potatoes. I’m telling you. You’d think you asked to move the moon. 4. Just substitute the damn potatoes. No one wants a New York Strip with fried hash potatoes. They want a baked potatoes and/or mashed. 5. We were two of 9 people in the entire restaurant. 6. This review should honestly lead to some kind of civil conversation with your God complexed Chef.

Got a couple drinks at this bar as it was attached to the hotel. Our bartender was really great and recommend some excellent cocktails. Live music was also there and there was this brilliant singer/guitarist. Next day I had lunch at the restaurant and got the Chicken and Swiss. It was really good. I would definitely recommend.

Was staying at the Overton for business and had breakfast at the Pecan Grill twice. Buffet was OK, but what stood out to me was the "Southern" breakfast - grits, poached eggs, sliders and fried green tomatoes. It's on my list of favorite breakfasts ever. Sad i live thousands of miles away.

I enjoyed it. I was there with the Texas district lwml conference. The food was great and on Friday, June 24, 2016 I had a waiter by the name of Journey, he was a great waiter. I wish him all the best in his future.
