Their bean and cheese tacos are the best in my opinion. But the tortillas you have to keep warm or they'll get hard quickly. The beef fajitas are really good too. I didn't like the Panchos with fajita though. They use the melted nacho cheese and not the shredded cheese. And their menu in general is a little pricey but there are some items worth trying.

the pizza was super flavorful and fluffy crust. The staff was super nice. They made me feel comfortable. Wasn't awkward at all. Made eye contact and smiled. Good job guys!

It was a longer wait than I had hoped, but food was good. Unfortunately, the inside and outside of the building were disgusting. Dirty floors, trash everywhere and dirty dust mops laying around. Trash cans were filthy and basically not operable because they are falling apart. For the amount of people that they seem to be serving, you would think they would want to take more pride in the restaurant itself. I left feeling as if I needed to go home and take a shower!

Taco Palenque is and continue as the best place for Mexico style food in the McAllen, Pharr, Mission area !! I love the tortillas any of both styles and even love more the rice and beans, there just excellent !! And last but not least, no matter if you choose beef or chicken fajita, is the same good flavor and taste every single day !!!
