I loooooove this place!!! Best food in Texas! It's attached to the stockyard, very authentic. The owners and staff have the loveliest attitude and are on point always!

One of the best places to eat in Central Texas. Great dinner plates, desserts, service. My rib eye steak dinner was delicious and the coconut pie was the best I’ve ever eaten!

After seeing a segment on the Texas Bucket List, we decided to make a little day trip from Fort Worth and give it a try for lunch. So glad we did! I had the best chicken-fried steak I've ever tasted (and I've tasted a lot of them), and my wife was very pleased with her burger, which came on a nice roll instead of a routine hamburger bun. The meat tasted very fresh. Seasoned fries were also good, though salty. Service was top-notch. Really a very pleasant experience, worth the 2-hour drive. Note that this restaurant is quite small--we visited after the lunch rush, and glad we did, as it was easy to get a table. Give it a try--you won't be sorry. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Good quality food in a unique atmosphere. Don't let the outside of the building turn you away. Service usually friendly and down to earth. I recommend stopping here for a bite to eat if you find yourself on Hwy 164.

The food was great, one of the best steaks I’ve eaten (and I’ve been to all the 5 star places in Dallas) The staff was very good, and friendly, and it’s a welcoming casual environment. If you’re in the area, I’d recommend it highly. :)
