We like to do lunch here but they also offer a very good breakfast daily and dinner on the weekend. Love their home made chips and salsa. I normally get a cheese burger which is good or sometimes the club sandwich which is huge. Great old country hardware and restaurant place where you can grab a ice cream cone on your way out or home made pie or cake.

The times listed on the Internet are incorrect, this place IS open on Sundays. Food was good, baked potato was tasty. Chicken salad looked good, presentation was pleasant, plate was loaded with fruit. Service was friendly. Store is fun to look at, still has some old time hardware and dry goods

I love going back to Kitchens, my grandmother took me to this hardware store back in the 70's when I was a young gun.. They have kept the old store looking like it did back in the day.. Please never change that, you are part on Mineola History.. Oh and the food is good as well!

Really good food at good prices. It's awesome to see the hardware in the back of the store, with a USA flag with 48 stars.

Went yesterday for breakfast... Had to wait for empty tables to be cleaned, sat down , waited 10 minutes was ntn addressed, had to get up and ask hostess for drinks an menu. Waited again another 10 minutes to be spijes too to get our order, had to ask for silverware, had to ask for refill, waited over an hour for food for it to be wrong! Spoke to manager, he acted like he didn't even care an basically said well, sorry nothing can do about it. It is what it is.. .blamed it on the wine train... If he knew it was coming then he should of staffed accordingly to accommodate his customers... the only reason we're giving it two stars is the food was good.. but the service, staff an MGMT was not worth ever goin back. Thank you but you've lost two could of been repeat customers. MGMT should care more about customers an making them happy. Or just an apology would have been nice. If you don't care about service or waiting over an hour for food or decent mgmt..then go for it.. if you do.. then I'd stay clear of this place... Not worth it..
