Went tonight for my father n laws bday. And I have to say.... someone over these reviews has got to be deleting the unsatisfactory ones... there's just no way that I not ready other similar experiences in this REVIEW Comment area. As for the service... No complaints! Seated quickly, serviced well... drinks ...orders..food... We ordered shrimp n crab dip... which was supposed to also come the toast points. Not! It came with packaged butter crackers and the dip itself was TERRIBLE! Our entire party agreed ... it was bad. I ordered grilled crab cakes with the sauce ... mercy!!!! EVERY bite I took had crab shells!!! Needless to say outta 3 cakes, I left 2. Terrible. My mother n law says the gumbo wasn't good at all.... would NEVER re-order or recommend it. My sister n law ordered fried oysters (which were very small) and a baked potato. They were out bacon bits... gave an extremely small portion of cheese and butter. Overall... we were all in agreement that this place AIN'T WHAT IT USE TO BE! We're all aware that April 28th is the restaurants last day at this location... they're moving to Central Mall... and it's our understanding that it'll be "take out ONLY" .... I truly do have a hard time believing all the reviews here are positive. Guess it's all about dem CRABS!
