My family and I were the first ones here as soon as they opened, and wow the food. I wasn't sure what to expect since it was my first time and I've never had German food before, but man, we were all impressed. Very delicious food and very nice portions. We had the sausage sampler, the schnitzel, and the lox sandwich. We all shared everything because we all wanted to try each other's food. Overall, I would definitely come back.

Great service, friendly people, awesome food. My fried salmon was cooked to perfection. I also had beet salad and a lovely cucumber salad. All for $18. Had apple strudel for dessert. Nice atmosphere as well.

Im a local. Gone quite a few times now. Great place, beer selection and cute friendly bartender. Everyone in there is pretty friendly and early in the day there's no wait for anything. Great place if you're local and just want to relax and enjoy good German beers.

Best schnitzel in town! Try the Texas schnitzel for a taste of local German flavor. Sit at the bar and have Gunter be your guide to the finest German beers on tap in town.

Really cool little place. A friend and I stopped in after riding the tubes on our way back to San Antonio. There was almost no one there when we entered and our first thought was that this was a sign of quality. But this wasn't the case here. We were greeted by a very friendly waitstaff, a short wait after ordering, and delicious food. It didn't blow our minds, but nice German stuff for the middle of Texas. If you're into this kind of food, definitely check it out.
