Service is always great. The employees pay attention and make little to no mistakes. We have never had to check our food to ensure everything was there. Prices have gone up slightly but the food quality didn't go up with it. We always get cajun cat fish. It used to be so good, but over the last couple of years it's turned into a slight seasoning. Everything is always hot and fresh. Both dine in and drive through have the same quality.

The sides are good but be careful not to fill up on those (which is probably what they are hoping you will do!), as the catfish is the reason to go. All you can eat for a fantastic price. The catfish is good if a tad salty, crisp and not greasy. The restaurant will be noisy and crowded by 7 pm, and reservations are recommended. Fun for crowds, but don't go there to propose to your girlfriend. You can typically get seated pretty quickly from the time they open at 5 pm till about 6:30. After that, expect a wait. This is a Paris, Texas original!

There's a reason this place has been around for over forty years. It's the very definition of a Texas fish fry. There's usually a little wait but they happily take reservations. But even with a wait it's well worth it. I almost always get the catfish but there are a few other options if someone in the group doesn't like catfish. For those like me that love it, there's an all-you-can-eat catfish option. But it's not just about the great fish but everything that goes with it; from the hush puppies and fries to the coleslaw and the green tomato relish. I even enjoy the fresh onion on the side. There are also plenty of friendly wait staff to keep the hot food coming to your table. This great institution is a must if you ever find yourself hungry and in Paris.

Consistantly good. All you can eat fried catfish, cole slaw, tomato relish, hush puppies, and fench fries. Or some other menu item. I haven't had a bad meal here ever.

I can't come to dinner with a good friend without people in the restaurant giving us dirty looks. Racist are still in Paris.
