Had great family fun at Los Comales. The food was good authentic Mexican and Tex-mix. Prices are a little more than moderate, but the portions and quality make up for it. I did not rate at five stars because of the service, which was not terrible, but lacked in that the waitress was not observant as she passed our table before and after serving others. We had a party of twelve and realize this is a large group to attend to, but the waitress had to be flagged down to refill drinks, salsa and chip bowls. She was better about the drinks than the other items. Never once did she ask anyone about refills of chips and salsa. She had no help except when the food was served. Many restaurants will use waitresses who are not so busy to help to help those who are, even if only to refill drinks and fulfill simple requests. Good food and a good time overall. I would visit again.

Excellent menu & margaritas have reputation as being the best from here to the border. Tuesday fajita special draws crowds. Local people have favorites & stick to them. There are several items for vegetarians. The spinach enchiladas are 5 star. Be sure to check the seafood items. The half eggplant deep fried & filled with shrimp, scallops, blue crab sauce is super. The parking lot has been upgraded. Good eating.

They seriously are less than a star. Had to wait 20 minutes for a beer. Cold food. Asked to warm it up real quick. Re-made it and was still not warm and not even the same plate with stuff not asked for on the plate. It was a disgrace. And when confronted with the issues we still paid full price and literally did not any food we were given cause after two times being sent back it still was not warm or decent in any form. I will never come back to this mistake of a place. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We had a party of 10. Paco was our waiter he was very very good I really thought he did an excellent job. The only thing that I could say should have been different was the added gratuity on each person's individual check. I kind of understand why they do that but Paco would have made a lot more money had he not added tips to everyone's checks. I don't know if it's company policy or if they've just gotten stiff so many times but he had three former waitresses at that table who know what it's like to wait on people. The food I would rate 6 out of 10. I would recommend going there though and ask him for Paco I think it was an excellent waiter.
