I never review places but Im making the exception. I wish negative stars were available. Probably the worst place (service wise, food was cold but had a good flavor) I have ever had the misfortune of eating at. After waiting for an hour for our food to arrive, no refills on chips or drinks, our food finally trickled in with the first meal being delivered a full 20 minutes prior to the last meal. We had to request silverware. I cancelled my youngest son's food because it never arrived after 20 minutes and by that point I gave him mine. All meals were lukewarm at best for the exception of the last one delivered. Flavor was fine. Waitress was new which was fine and I don't blame her for the food taking an inordinate amount of time. I do however hold her responsible for never making sure we had utensils to eat with, drinks to quench thirst or maybe some chips for the hour long wait, after i repeatedly asked with no response to correct the situation. She wandered around aimlessly with no regard for customers. Hope she improves. Good riddance.

This is definitely our favorite Mexican place in Waco. We spent years going to different Mexican places before discovering this diamond in the rough. You start off with two different kinds of salsa. The menu is huge and we’ve never had anything we don’t like. Service is always very quick. Drink prices are also reasonable. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys Mexican food!!

The rice was pretty cold and the tamales were hard and dry. The service was friendly, but not the best. Didn't ask for refills or picked up the check. The refried beans, salsa and chips were yummy though. Won't recommend.

Great food. Especially love their warm salsa that they serve alongside the regular cold salsa. Good sized portions and excellent specials! A tad pricey, but I would say that it is worth it for the personal relationship you can build with the staff and the good food you receive in return.

Amazing restaurant! My coworkers and I have been coming here for years and I have to say that this is one of the best restaurants in waco. The food is phenomenal and they have an amazing group of waitresses that work together wonderfully. No matter how busy it gets the service always seems to be superb.
