Husband ordered us two diet vanilla dr peppers easy ice. The dude said it back but without the vanilla, and my husband clarified WITH vanilla, to which the dude said “yeah yeah”. Took like 5 minutes to ring it up, and sure enough, rang it up without vanilla. Paid, lady brought it out, husband asked, “we asked twice for these with vanilla and didn’t see it rang up correctly. Did he put vanilla in these, do you know?” She said “No, that’s extra.” Like, okay, duh. So, as she clearly trying to get away, my husband said, “Okay well I’m going to double check before you go...” tasted it, she STILL trying to get away, and he says “Yeah definitely isn’t any.” And she didn’t even say sorry, she just said “yeah there isn’t any it’s extra.” Like, right. We heard you the first time. Too bad you weren’t listening to us when we ordered. She practically ran off before my husband could even ask to just pay for the correct order. And of course, they shoved as much ice as possible into our cups- can’t even read the order they take down apparently. Not even worth it, honestly should’ve asked for the manager. I get that’s it just drinks and it’s just vanilla- but that’s the point. It’s not a hard request and something as simple as vanilla syrup can easily be apologized for and corrected for FREE instead of trying to nickel and dime us for your own carelessness. Seriously save yourself the trouble, even for something as seemingly simple as drinks, and go to ANY other sonic.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I have not had a more awful experience at any fast food place before. The service is horrendous, the staff are extremely rude, and the food is questionable at best. The last time I went to this location, I had to sit for 30 minutes before someone would take my order. I was told they were helping other guests, but I looked inside and saw all the employees talking to each other. When they finally took my order, I was greeting with “What do you want?”. After waiting another 45 minutes, some food finally arrives. I say “some food” because it was nowhere close to what I ordered. I ordered a cheeseburger and received a hot dog. I sent it back and another 25 minutes goes by before I received my cheeseburger. This time, it was warm at best and the bun was soggy. I asked the employee who brought it to my car if that was normal, and they said there’s nothing wrong with the food. I later found a 6 inch hair in my burger. Clearly this is what they’re okay with serving. The next day, I came down with food poisoning. My friends who went to Sonic with me all got it also, so we can only assume it was from there. Next time, go across the street to one of the many restaurants. Do not go to this Sonic.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt more unwelcome at a restaurant in my life. The person taking my order needed to turn down the microphone sensitivity because I felt like she was yelling at me. She also got my order wrong because she kept cutting me off. They’re also under staffed so it seems that much harder.

Consistently poor service. Two separate visits over the last three weeks and each time the order has come out wrong. First visit, They brought me someone else's food. Second visit, the burger wasn't prepared as ordered and the Root Beer tasted like water. Ken, the supervisor acknowledged that other fast food restaurants like In And Out and Chick-fil-a are the "gold standard" of service and quality; he seemed entirely uninterested in getting his Sonic to match the standards of the other restaurants. If you want Sonic, go to the location in Robinson or the location off Bagby and Hwy 6. It's worth the drive if they're further from you than the Baylor Sonic.

This 2 star rating is not directed towards the food or typical customer service because most of the time the Baylor Sonic is amazing. That being said, there is a girl that works earlier in the day that is incredibly rude. I work for a delivery service and pick up orders quite often. When I want to grab something for myself I have to do a separate order for obvious reasons, most people and places have no problem with this, but she does. I’ve skipped ordering a meal for myself at this location a few times now because she simply refuses to allow me to place a separate order. Sad :(
