Went on a week day evening and were seated immediately. I was concerned because the place seemed empty, but we were thrilled with out visit. Fair warning, the portions are HUGE. I recommend the chicken fried steak, but instead of ordering the dinner, order the breakfast! You get a really good sized-steak, 3 pancakes, eggs, bacon/sausage, and a large side of hash browns. By the way, the sweet cream pancakes are to die for! Seriously so delicious, and we left with about two more meals worth of food! Also, the pancakes are sweet so it's like you get dessert with your meal. :)

Very good food! I love that they have small versions of some of the menu items. I also love that our server asked which one I wanted when I ordered the county fried steak because I didn't know there was a smaller option. Our server was great! It's usually a bit of a wait for your food but it's worth it! The pancakes are the best pancakes I've ever had!

We LOVE Black Bear Diner. We used to have bad service, but kept returning for the great food. Something must have happened with their management because we always get phenomenal service here now. Their food is great and we can always expect anything from Black Bear to be exceptional.

Its a very good place to bring family to have a meal. Generally good food and good service. Their burgers are very very juicy and delicious. Definitely come here if you are very hungry.

This is by far the best location ever. Jess is by far one of their best she helped us Friday while training a new server and even though she was training she was on point our drinks never went empty and she was even walking around helping all the tables with drinks and filling waters. It’s awesome to see team players like that when you come somewhere. I see this place going to new heights. We were tired of this place and the horrible service we thought hey one more shot and she saved our huge party for you. We will be coming back and ALWAYS asking for her no matter the wait. Thanks Jess for your amazing service and showing us that giving places chance is great because there is someone who is worth you coming back time and time agai.
