The dining are is a little dated but staff here is really friendly and the food is good. However, the food flavor and quality seems to have gone down some since ownership changed a few years back. I remember liking it more. 3 1/2 stars would be a more appropriate rating.

Pros: Prompt service, rarely busy, good amount of food for the price, caters to most of customers' requests Cons: Food is good, but I haven't yet found anything exceptional as far as Chinese food. Jack of all trades, master of none. I recommend the Hunan Beef, if you like meat and veggies. It's spicy, savory, and scrumptious.

This is the best place to get the bet Chinese food. I lived in Layton for almost 20 years and in the last 20 years I have not found a better Chinese restaurant. They give you crazy amounts of food my girlfriend and I can share a dinner size meal that’s only $10 dollars you can’t find a cheaper place. Of course with the tip its only costs $15 bucks and we always have food left over to bring home. Highly highly recommend this place👍👍😁

Royal Jade is the best Chinese restaurant in the entire state of Utah. You will not find better cuisine anywhere else. We are very fortunate to have this establishment in our community. Thank you, Royal Jade, for offering such top-notch service. -Aaron W. Johnson-
