Excellent service, good food, lots of vegetarian options, lots of good tea selections. Higher end of mid-range prices. Overall a nice place for curry and Thai food. Did not try any items from the American foods menu, but they offer it.

The best Thai in Salt Lake. I love super spicy food. The first time I went here I asked about their spice levels. They have this really odd way of allowing you to go up in heat. The first time you go you can ONLY get a #2 out of #9. I soon found out that a 3 is actually almost too hot. Be careful. Besides that, the food is worth it. Very very good.

One of the best places to get Thai food (and some other cuisines too as the name suggests). Their spice/hotness level is 1 to 10 but they don't offer anything over 3 to anyone unless they have had a 3 first Without complaining. If you have no spice tolerance ask for a 1 or lower, high spice tolerance people can ask for a 2 and the food will be more than hot. All for a 3 only if you and your stomach can really handle spices very well. If you want a 4 or higher, ask for a 3 on the first trip. Get a 4 only if you enjoyed the 3. Also, be prepared to have more chilly than gravy if you ask for a E or higher. I always order 3 but don't care for anything higher (and I thought I was really great at handling spices and hot food).

Came here about 2 hours before close on a weeknight and has a terrible experience. Worst service I've ever received at an asian restaurant in my life. The waitress was disinterested and neglected to provide us with even the essentials. She was nowhere to be found so we ended up filching napkins/silverware from another table. The menus were _disgusting_. All sticky and gross feeling. Not exactly something I wanted to be touching before eating a meal. We ordered hot tea and there was not a sufficient amount of loose leaves to properly infuse the amount of water. Weak tea was very disappointing. The food was good and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. Chabaar does not hold a candle to their sister location Tea Rose Diner, in my opinion. I've never had a poor experience there, but will not be revisiting Chabaar again.

There are definitely better places to get Thai food around here. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't that great. Not really memorable. The service was terrible. Our order was taken fairly quickly, and the wait time for the food wasn't too long, but no one came to check on us, not once. We had to flag a different server down to get more rice. Our water glasses were never refilled and we ran out before we were done eating. We had to go up to the counter to get our check so that we could leave. On the bright side, it was pretty clean inside. I can't imagine any circumstance in which I'll go back here.
