I walked past the New Sun Restaurant often, Never crowded. Never gave it a thought. One day I finally stumbled in for a bite, to discover this Hidden Gem. I will be back many more times that is for sure. Great atmosphere and amazing people. I recommend you stumble on in and give it a taste.

Love this place. They are so nice and treat you like family. The food is great and they have so much to choose from at really good prices. She gave us some free prawns to try and which was really cool and they were good and fun to try.

I listened to the reviews before coming here during a big storm, but the reviews seem off. I ordered some orange chicken per the reviews, but I couldn't even enjoy that. The chicken was barely crisp and was matched oddly with some lettuce that didn't pair well. Furthermore, the rice was soaked to the point that it was no longer steamed rice but was almost porridge or mushy, soggy, flecks of something. Unfortunately there was no flavor in the rice, and I couldn't eat it with the chicken. The only nice part was that the food came with a soup or salad. Regarding the rest of the experience, the atmosphere wasn't so nice: the door was right next to the tables and brought in chilly breath with each entrance and exit of the children playing nearby. The family customers were quite loud and spilled their food all over the floor. Finally, the restroom required a key and was shared with the connected five guys. Inside the restroom, there was a dirty mop bucket with used standing water. The sheet vinyl is peeling off near the urinal, and the simple experience of requiring a key to enter the restroom reminds one of an experience in middle school and not that of a well reviewed restaurant. If you're eating alone maybe you can justify the trip here, but it wasn't suitable for a night out with a loved one. I don't even see it as a viable family trip with the prices or quality of the facilities.

Me and my wife eat here a couple time a month and we have not had anything to complain about. The orange chicken is amazing. When I say it's the best I've had anywhere I am not joking. The sushi is bomb too. Good job guys!

Maybe the restaurant is trying to do too many different culinary cultures at once (Chinese, Japanese, Thai). Although the server was helpful and prompt, some of the food was odd, as if it was being thrown together on a whim, hoping it might work. The restaurant was not crowded when we visited on an afternoon, so there was little stress on the kitchen. The yakisoba was seasoned with curry (!) and the hot & sour soup seemed to be seasoned with mustard and an abundance of salt. We couldn't finish the soup. The orange chicken was excellent, though. Orange chicken was what the server recommended when asked, and now I understand why. I'll probably skip this restaurant in the future.
