Great location on Center street tight across from the beautiful Provo City Center Temple. We got a window seat at sunset and people watched. The stained glass windows of the temple kept changing in the light and it was a very pretty view. The wait staff is great, very cute, eclectic vintage atmosphere, and terrific Southern comfort food style menu. We highly recommend the hushpuppies as an appetizer!

The food was good, above average. We had the poutine for appetizer and it was really tasty. My daughter had the Holey Chicken sandwich that had a good flavor, but the chicken breast was over cooked and tough. I had Shrimp and Grits and it was a very tasty meal and well prepared. The Memphis sauce was just the right amount of spicy to compliment the flavor of the shrimp. The disappointment was the service. We had to wait 20 minutes (told 15) to be seated at a table that was empty when we came in. There were 4 empty tables when we entered, none were seated while we waited. Clearly a false wait trying to make themselves seem popular? Or just short of staff. Also, had to ask more than once to get a high chair for our child. We spent $50 for our lunch. The overall experience wasn't up to that price point.

Great flavors, I ordered the Memphis chicken sandwich. The chicken was dry but the breading was so yummy! The bottom of my bun was soggy though which wasn't pleasant. Also we ordered a side of macaroni and cheese in place of fries and they still charge us the full $3 for it, which we didn't think was fair or right. When we brought it up to the server she just said "yeah the mac n cheese is expensive sorry" she did offer to give us fries to go but at that point we were full and frustrated so we passed on the offer.

The last three or four visits I made to Station 22 have been subpar. It seems as though this place is continually understaffed...we waited for almost an hour for a table, although there were several open, and apparently only one waitress. Our waitress was very nice, but frazzled, and forgot our orders, didn't refill our drinks, and had to be asked several times to bring extras around to the table, as she kept forgetting. The food was rushed, and was only okay, not as great as it has been in the past. It would be understandable if this happened every once in a while, but this has been consistent over the past six months or so. My friends and I have all decided we probably won't be going back for a good while. Hopefully the management will ensure that the restaurant is properly staffed and the kitchen staff trained on food preparation.

Fun atmosphere, but the food was only okay. My friends all got chicken and waffles. I got the shrimp and grits. It was an interesting take on the original but the sauce was overpowering and too salty. I scraped most of it off the grit cakes, but my plate was swimming in it. My entree also had "seasonal vegetables" on the side. Baby carrots are not a seasonal vegetable. Basically, the entree was creative, but the side was boring. The service was okay. Our server was in such a rush that we couldn't really talk to her.
