Jim's reminds me of the roadside diners that I grew up going to for Sunday breakfast with the family. The restaurant is comfortable, servers are friendly, prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. My favorite item is the daily soups especially the beef vegetable. It has a typical American diner menu with a large variety of breakfast options. It is often busy, but the wait is nothing compared to wait times at neighboring restaurants(IHOP, Black Bear). Even with a short wait, I think it's worth it because they are consistent and friendly.

Great fish and chips on Friday I would give them a five star rating if the service was not so slow. We stopped in before the hockey game for dinner an hour before the puck drops. Ended up missing the whole 1st period due to slow service. Seemed like there was no manger on duty our server was very laxidazical. Food was good and hot drinks and refills we hard to come by. I will go back through because of the food.

I've been to many of Utah's Jim's restaurants. This West Valley City location is my favorite out of em all. Make no mistake this place is always really busy. Typical wait time is around 20 min t be seated. Because of how busy this place is, food is always warm and freshly made. You need to try the orange juice at this location. Simply the best. This location has been remodeled recently. Nice appearance inside. Staff is as always very friendly. You get a bang for your buck.

Very pleasant, very delicious top notch breakfast spot. Tess is amazing , hard working and extremely pleasant. My daughter was coloring with a red and yellow crayon and asked for a orange one. Tess took the time to help her mix both colors to make orange! Something we should have done. Shannon the greeter is also very nice. Great experience and I will be back!

It was my birthday. Only 1 daughter came. She had to leave before I was done. My sweet waitress offered to take her break to come sit with me so I would not have to eat alone in my birthday. There are many other places I could have chosen. I chose Jim's for my birthday lunch because the food is always yummy, no matter what you order and it is a very comfortable atmosphere.
