Been going to this fantastic Italian restaurant for more than six years. The staff is always cordial and friendly. The food is fantastic (though the cocktails could use a little work). The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Also has a private back room if you want to host a party, always a plus.

The food here is so delicious! Everything at our table tasted amazing. There are lots of options for every price point. The soups and salads are not large portions, but they are not too expensive. If you want more food the pasta dishes are pretty large portions and they had a great 3 course dinner deal. Our server had a decent knowledge of the menu and could suggest dishes to suit your preference. They did not have many vegan or vegetarian dishes, most dishes had meat there were a few with only cheese, but even the bean soup was meat based. If you follow a special diet this would not be a very accommodating restaurant.

Seems to be a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant in Old Town Alexandria. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. My wife and I just didn't feel welcomed. We were treated fairly by our server, it just wasn't anything special. He was prompt and friendly when greeting other tables, but after a 10 minutes he came over and asked if we had any questions. Not sure what that was about. We were the only African Americans in the entire restaurant and the server didn't seem comfortable. It felt awkward. The only saving grace was that the food was really good and not expensive.

This restaurant is an annual stopping point for a business group I meet up with. The menu is excellent and wine selection to pair with it is too. I have never had a bad meal and service is outstanding. Our group usually exceeds 10 in number and come from all sections of the US. Everyone raves about this place.

Food is good but not amazing... I expected it to be better given the price point. The lasagna was good, but the ingredients were unbalanced, it was mostly meat sauce, the ricotta, pasta and anything else were an afterthought. The salad was slightly better than what you would get at a diner, add a few sprigs of endive and arugula. The stuffed special pasta was good, but nothing to brag about. The service was excellent at the beginning, but at the end of our meal we couldn't get the waiter's attention.
