I had never eaten here personally, but I had heard both good and bad things about them. I was craving Chinese one day and decide I'd try my luck and give them a chance. Because I was at work at the time and couldn't leave, I placed an order for delivery. The guy I placed my order with told me it would be about an hour because they only had one driver, I understood and said that was fine. Two hours later, I still had not received my food. I called the restaurant back to check in with them, this time I got a different person. The lady rushed me off the phone by saying "he's coming, he's coming" then hung up. The bad thing is, I had already paid for the food. I decided it wasn't worth it at that point so I called them back just to cancel my order and ask for my money back. The lady rudely told me, "we give no refund" and hung up...again. Needless to say, this place will never get my business from here on out.

This is the whole in the wall. Run by a very friendly husband wife team. Fast food they are not. Meals are cooked to order and may take some time to prepare. The world has grown up around them. Some nights they do 100's of takeouts for the local hotels. While I waited 10-15 more people were placing orders. Their Singapore noodles are excellent.

If you're not paying attention, you can drive right past Imperial Chinese without even noticing! This place is the definition of 'Hole in the Wall', and all the food is cooked to order, so be ready for a little bit of a wait. If you're a fan of take-out Chinese food, this place has some of the best fried rice you'll ever try. Seriously, give it a shot!

It was ok. Had sesame chicken. The chicken was a little chewy, but good flavor on the sauce. Fried rice was really good, and egg roll was good to. The crab rangoon was not good. Would have been 4 or 5 star otherwise.

Always a pleasure to visit here and get some of my favorite Chinese cuisine. The owner runs solo and has absolutely no one helping her run the restaurant. I can see why it takes a while to get an order up. But I give her props for a job well done. One of my favorite places in Ashland.
