We (couple from out of town) never got any further than the host, or Maitre' d. We (my partner and I) were taken there last night by a local couple. We did not make a reservation, so it is perfectly understandable that we could not be seated right away. However... We were made to feel as though we were not welcome since we had no reservations. There was no attempt to give us an estimated wait time or anything. Just an insincere "No. We are booked. Sorry." Stated by the stuffy and pompous seeming older gentleman in the very nice clothes who was perched stiffly behind a host stand/podium thingy. We went elsewhere and we were seated immediately. Too bad. First impressions are important. Might want to take a look into the "attitude" at the door.

From cocktails to dessert, it was a wonderful anniversary dinner. Filet was cooked perfectly medium rare and hubbies pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon was supreme, as was our greens. The deconstructed cheesecake was light enough that we couldn't resist! Couldn't have been better!

Nice Atmosphere...very expensive for just average quality and service.

In the heart of historic Lexington, delicious food, great atmosphere. Cozy, lively, good jazz.

I enjoyed the restaurant, good but limited menu, nice service. The only thing I disliked happened at the end of the meal. I requested a Monte Cristo coffee. The staff declined my request to make this coffee, apparently unwilling even to simply Google the directions for the drink. I have never had that happen before.
