Really good food. Love the bison selections. Pecan pie is amazing. Shop and local grounds are nice too. Good weekend getaway or day-trip.

Fun stop, but be sure to have a "hard copy map" on hand! We stopped here for breakfast on our way from NY to GA. There was plenty of parking and a cute photo op in their parking lot of a cow in a chics egg. It is definitely a mix between country and hunting decor, a real old time feel. Our server was very friendly, and we received all of our food fresh and fast. The food was good, but it's the rest of the restaurant that keeps you intrigued. Side note, we lost service completely and had no signal on our phones so we ended up driving in a big giant country loop for about an hour before we found our way back to the restaurant. Luckily our server was able to write directions down so we could get to NC or else we would have been stuck without an actual map!

The food and atmosphere was fantastic! Just wish it wasn't so far away. My only complaint is that the food, while delicious, took close to 45 minutes to get to us.

Step back in time in this quintessential small town restaurant and store. The food has always been good but the atmosphere and unique store is the biggest thing that draws us back. My daughter is not a fan because of the stuffed animals throughout, so if that is disturbing to you, you may want to skip it. If you want to try the local Bison Burger, this is one of the few places I know to get one. Excellent place to get souvenirs or unique Christmas decor.

I have been there numerous times in an attempt to give a better review but sadly it didn't happen. If you are out on a leisurely drive and happen upon this place it is awesome. The old country store and dining room with gift shop really nice. The menu has some really good selections and the prices are a little pricey but for where you are and what it is I have always overlooked it. The problem comes with the service, it is deplorable. The wait staff has been horrendous on every occasion that I have been there. It has been so bad that even my 13 year old daughter has noticed and complained. The last time I was there I was going to complain to the manager but I noticed that out waitress along with another was standing talking to the female manager so long that other tables were getting up and going to ask for drink refills. I am giving them 3 stars because of the food and facilities but if I were the owners I would definitely fix my employee problem.
