Overall it's a nice place where my friends who don't have any dietary restriction can grab a bite, unfortunately McDonald's does not have much that is safe for someone with celiac disease, or who must remain gluten free. Drinks are always cold; we particularly like the Ice Tea. Only wish they would roll out gluten free buns and clarify if the French Fries are safe. This location is convenient as it's on Jefferson Davis Highway and is adjacent to the university. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Fair amount of parking.

McDonalds is a catch 22 for the diet of a red-blooded American. The bathrooms aren't clean, the lines are long, the employees struggle to do basic math, and everyone is virtually incapable of customizing a single-patty burger. But the way it tastes. Them seasonings. Them condiments. You bite into it, and whatever stress you had getting it REALLY doesn't matter anymore. You've achieved Burger Nirvana. You won't be needing Burger King.... Will I return? Probably. Don't even need to be persuaded that hard.

Update: We don't go to McDonald's anymore. Taking away the $1.00 Sweet Tea cup, giving me a smaller cup, for the same price. Wth. I head to Cook Out. Having to wait 15 minutes, in drive-thru, for 2 sweet teas, is ridiculous. Any where else is no problem, except here. Got to the window, the Manager and 3 staff members are just standing there laughing and talking. No-one is at the window. Crew member turns to see me and THEN gets my order ready. Pretty bad customer service here, except for JOANIE. The ordering part is easy, the wait is crazy. What happened to the "fast" food? I go out of my way to go to ANY other McDonalds.

Ordering online for the first time. Curb side pick up. Seems convenient although order is not actually submitted until you check-in and pay. Doesn't seem to minimize wait time but human interaction is minimized, and I'm ok with that. Solid 3 stars for me.

In the druve thru Ordered a quarter pounder meal plain quarter pounder and a big Mac large fries total was over 22 dollars about 4 cars in front of us paid at the first window pulled to the second window they gave us diet coke told us to pull up and they would bring the food out 8:00pm we pulled to drive thru spot number 2 watched over 10 cars go thru drive thru at 8:15 pm still jotting walked in store went up to cashier told her how long we waited want our money back she said your food is on the counter do you want it told her no we want the money back ( why was our food on the counter unattended and wasn't brought to us who knows how long it was sitting there right ) so she hands back 18 dollars and some change asked her why she says you have a diet coke we gave you out the window and gives a dollar back so when my mother asked for the manager she says I am the manager to have sit out there over 15 minutes and had to walk in and see our food on the counter unattended should have been giving the diet coke or something huh anyway went to McDonald ferry farm got friendly service and wasn't pulled up and made to wait won't be going back there again
