Really like the outdoor area of this place. That’s pretty much where it stops. Ordered the shrimp creole which wasn’t that flavorful and mushy. Silverware was dirty. Food seemed overprice for portions. Cajun chicken wings (ordered by mom) were said to be simply smoked - nothing Cajun. Really awesome atmosphere, but food not worth it. Server was pretty cool guy.

Great and lively atmosphere where everyone was having a fun time. I sat on the back patio because the weather was so nice. It was removed enough from the bustle of the street while still having the historic and urban feel that everyone loves about old town Petersburg. The food was fantastic and authentic New Orleans fare with enough options to please any palate or diet. The staff were extremely friendly and down to earth, even though they were very busy and obviously slammed. My only complaint is that everything took a long time to happen (food, drinks, checks). This was forgivable given the sheer amount of people at the restaurant on the Saturday night that I went. All in all a great place to go out with friends or family for either a night on the town or for a more intimate setting as well. If it weren't for the wait on everything it would be an easy 5 stars.

I ended up here totally because I pushed the wrong choice on my "smart phone". I walked in and was way to hungery to be rude and leave after looking at the menu and realizing that most of the items on the menu didn't appeal to me. So I found one thing that I could eat. So I ordered it. WOW!!!! It was great. They make their own salad dressings... amazing! I had a prime rib sandwich, it came with horseradish sauce. I HATE horseradish sauce, but tried theirs anyway...it was spectacular!!! Mixed in perfect proportions with mustard. There was also a gravy into which you could dip your fries.. fantastic... (I deconstructed the sandwich and used the gravy on my bread) ... with an extra side, a drink, and tip, brunch was $20.00. I would recommend this to anyone who likes cajun cuisine... but even if you don't, their prime rib sandwich was amazing!!!
