Absolutely wonderful. I am visiting my son in Norfolk and really wanted a seafood dinner. I read the reviews on a lot of places and finally decided on Dock of the Bay. It may look like a hole in the wall but I assure you it has some of the best seafood, well, food period, that I've ever had. Our waitress, Christine, was attentive and friendly, the type of person you instantly want to sit down and have coffee with. She assured us that their clam chowder is the best from here to Baltimore and she wasn't lying! The cream base was so flavorful, the big chunks of clam were tender and the bits of corn just pushed it right over the edge. I'll never be able to eat the canned stuff again and I WILL be making the 9 hour drive from NY again just to have a bowl of this deliciousness! My son had shrimp scampi and said it was amazing. I had the grilled seafood platter: melt in your mouth, so yummy and the tender stalks of asparagus I chose as one of my sides was seasoned perfectly. We sat out on the covered porch with a view of the docks and water... So peaceful and lovely. There were heaters scattered around so even though it was chilly outside the temperature was perfect inside. My son is so happy that we found this place and he can't wait to bring friends here. Thank you for a wonderful, memorable dining experience!

We had a wonderful meal with great service at a great price! Thanks for making my mom feel special! She lived your calamari (even I did and I don’t eat calamari!). Oh and the bloody Mary’s were good according to the rest of my group, I’m a mimosa girl and those were great too! Cheers 🥂

An excellent dinner for our first visit. Lucky to have walked in on "$5 Margarita Night". Very authentic, comfortable setting and decor. Would have liked a little better view. The she Crab soup and clam chowder were tasty. Both of our dinners we well prepared, and flavorful. We drove in from Chesapeake based upon local reviews. It was a great choice.

Was my first time ever.. we wanted to eat at our family members fav place. I can see why he loved it so much. We had an amazing time. Was beautiful, and the food was filling and absolutely delicious! Everyone was friendly! We managed to get accommodated for a large party at very short minute notice. Thank you for an experience we all will never forget. 😘

I made a reservation over a month prior to my visit for my birthday. When our group got there, they said i did not have a reservation, but they still accommodate for us. Our servers were nice. Food was okay. The crab cake minis and she crab soup were really good.
