Beware of tipping situation. We've been there a bunch of times and have never been dissatisfied. In there this past Sunday afternoon (1/22/17) we left a $6 tip on $38 (16%). We were then charged another $12 on the credit card. We may or may not have indicated "cash" on the tip line, but definitely didn't intend to leave a $18 tip. Dishonest.. In response: Inflammatory? We left a $6 cash tip and were charged an additional $12 on the card. That is what is inflammatory. I have no idea who "Derek Acosta" is. Clearly you don't care that you lost a customer. Judging by your attitude, it's probably not the first time.

Love this family owned restaurant! Located in the quaint little town of Hamilton, just west of Leesburg - if you're looking for blue crab this is the place! The food is delicious & the location is perfect! It's worth the drive out of town!

Usually great but today must have been a bad day. Oysters were very tough and bland. No flavor at all. Lobster roll was fair at best.

Awesome food! My wife and I have visited Lowry's Crab Shack numerous times and have never been disappointed. The scallops are to die for, and the sides are great as well. And by the way, the amount of food given is more than enough to fill a grown man. And people saying it's over priced...come on now, it's seafood. And it beats the hell out of Red Lobster any day, that's for sure! Atmosphere is perfect, and proves the name of the restaurant as accurate. And as a veteran, I love the free dessert! Would recommend to anyone, and we will be returning! Oh, and Mrs. Lowry, we know you need days off, but it's Tuesday and I'm aching for some scallops! Lol
