Only been here once but I really enjoyed the place. It was laid back, not completely crazy crowded, but a pleasant buzz about the place. Point of Guinness was around $5 and the service was great! It's within stumbling distance so I definitely plan come back.

Best pub in RVA and run by genuine UK expatriates. #1 cop bar in the city, you will always be safe there. Can be extremely loud when busy. Good fish 'n chips, burgers, bangers and mash, chili. Outstanding service - Helen, Kelsey, Tommy will take excellent care of you.

An Irish pub similar to what you'd find in Ireland. Good selection of draft craft beer. Nice atmosphere & friendly patrons. Includes patio seating. Thursday at 9 pm is karaoke night & a fun time even if you don't sing. Food is very good with both food & drink specials on weekdays.

I was disappointed with the taste, smell, and soggy exterior texture of the fried? microwaved? fish in the Fish and Chips entree. We were enroute to see a concert and I didn't bother to send it back because we didn't have time to waste. It was breaded but not crispy and seemed as if it had been frozen and thawed and microwaved? I washed it down with Guinness and luckily I didn't get sick. Something was definitely "Fishy" about it . . . I had eaten there in the past and was happy about what I ordered...which was an Irish Stew with herbed dinner rolls. This 2nd visit I was with American friends of Irish Ancestry, from the NY, NJ area, and they had never been there before. This made me even more disappointed because my meal wasn't as awesome as it should have been. I'm sorry to write this but...(I have never been disappointed with the Fish and Chips at another local Irish Pub and Restaurant in town, and, I truly expected my meal to be as delicious as theirs)... my entree of Fish and Chips at Rosie Connolly's Pub was basically "YUCKY". --- Signed, A lover of delicious Fish and Chips !!!
