We've been here many times over the years, including three generations in just our family. We have had only good experiences in the past. We visited again this week and I can only guess that the chef was out sick that night. Out of the four of us only one enjoyed their meal. The other three (including me) found the food totally bland and made myself eat half of it. The highlight of my meal was the baked potato. It was better than the broiled trout. I hope the chef returns soon.

Went on recommendation of 2 people. One said "its not much to look at from the outside". But, looks can be deceiving. The seafood was so fresh and delicious. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to allow the taste of the food to shine through. The scallops melted in our mouths! A must if you want GOOD seafood.

Seafood was fresh, but lacked taste. French fries were hot and delicious. I would not recommend this restaurant for good seafood.

Service was definitely subpar, the first waitress was rude and the second never came back after bringing our food until she brought the check. Neither asked us how we were or even greeted us, just asked what we wanted. Never got refills. The food was good, though. I got the seafood medley and the two other people with me got the new York strip, both were cooked to the correct doneness.

Cute little local place right down by the beach. They make amazing blueberry pancakes and omelettes, but also have a lot more to offer. Well priced, you can get a lit of food for a decent price. Small space that could be considered homey or cluttered. I think more so homey, esp. with the Christmas decor up. All the Ceiling tiles are painted and things about Virginia, and the community.
