Loved the fish. All you can eat fries. The owner is a very pleasant lady that came by our table and chatted with us, not just what would you like to order. It was our first time there, but we'll definitely be back. Decent pricing too.

The food was fine. The people were friendly. The decor was... Bizarre. They are going for a 50's diner vibe but the dining area looks like a converted double wide living room. EVERYTHING is Betty Boop and I'm not certain why. The meal was not bad but nothing special. However the price was very low. As in almost half what i was expecting

You can't go wrong with Lizzie's Cafe, one plus is that it's local between Birch Bay and Blaine. I started eating here about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love her Lizzie Burgers. I don't know why other people got their food dry but I seem to always get mine just fine. I had just now ordered take out which is excellent because I didn't know they did take out. To everyone writing reviews, please don't expect EVERY restaurant to be YOUR kind of 5 star. From what I've heard Lizzie has a 3 year lease and has another year to go before she can relocate to a bigger city. I'm giving her 5 stars because it's just a small diner, she deserves it. The prices are cheaper than Five Guys in Bellingham and she's such a nice lady. Don't expect when you walk in to see everything all retro, nothing is gonna happen or look your way. Majority of people I read below give this place 3 stars (their preference). Maybe stick to giving reviews to places you liked instead of being critics about places you didnt. Hate my review, try to give me a 👎 good luck finding that option😂

Wish I had pictures to share, but we were too hungry the few times we’ve eaten at Lizzie’s. The food was long gone before I could remember getting a picture. We tried their fish last summer during the Blaine 4th of July celebration and it was very delicious. From what I can gather their fish is the big draw in the area. We’ve also eaten breakfast here and their menu has all the classics. Of special note is the corn beef hash, which is made fresh and is very tasty. The biscuits and gravy is decent and the omelets are very well done. The coffee is not up to snuff for today’s standards, so expect the old stuff your grandparents used to make. All around a good meal and a fun place to visit.

Cool atmosphere but since the owner has changed the quality of the food is much lower. This place was our favorite and now we hate it :(
