This place has great food and staff. But the people that eat here made my family uncomfortable. We are Hispanic and they kept giving us bad looks everytime we spoke Spanish and it was unnerving. It made us leave early.

The service was slow. The Rueben sandwich wasn't the worst I've had but not good. The corned beef was flavorless, very small portioned and shredded? The sauerkraut was thin and flavorless, there was no type of sauce. My friend ordered cheese bread with her clam chowder. The waitress informed us the bread had fallen to the floor, they would bring a new serving. The bread came just as my friend was finishing her bowl of clam chowder. The bread was overcooked. Sorry to be so negative but this place is goung downhill. Used to be decent.

My husband works nights and our days off are different. He decided to stay up so we could spend some time together on Sunday. He wanted to take me to brunch and discovered the Windmill Bistro online. We loved the ambiance, the food was great, the coffee was good and we enjoyed the Tea Madame Tea House. What we did not enjoy was the hostess, she came across as being snooty. She started out telling us we needed to have a reservation (The website does not mention reservations for a party of 2 are necessary.). I apologized and explained it was our first time there. Then she informed me they were VERY popular, handed me a card and said in the future I should make a reservation. After making a show of hemming and hawing she told us she could work us in but there would be a 20 minute wait. Like I said, we were pleased with everything else and we will probably be back....after we make a reservation, of course ;)

The fish tacos were very tasty! The salsa verde was so good too. Would definitely order that for lunch again. Creme brulee was perfect, not too sweet. Service was great as well. All around good experience for me.

By far one of the best breakfast places I have been. The food was fantastic. And the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Probably gunna go back next week gotta get me some more of those tasty scones.
