OMG! This place is the ULTIMATE breakfast spot! Incredible portions, amazing prices, unbelievable baked concoctions! Went there for my wife's birthday and they made her this delicious chocolate cinnamon pound style cake. We asked if we could order another to take home because it was warm, fresh, and amazing, but it was just 'thrown together by the cook'! So awesome! Ultimate mom 'n pop you can't miss it!

Great food, cute atmosphere. Huge portions, but fun to share! :) Best place to stop for breakfast on your way out to camping. We get a second order of hash and take with us for the trip!

It was my first visit to The Kettle. It's the kind of mom and pop place I look for when I travel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly and was hot. AND one of my favorites, they have real butter on the table and I noticed they had half and half for people to put in their coffee. Great atmosphere. On the downside, the hash browns were very bland, they tasted as if they had been boiled and quickly put on the grill top to give it some color, bland and dry. So why am I giving it 5 stars? Since I became a widow seven years ago, every time I go into a restaurant as a single person I always get put at a tables by the kitchen door or get ignored by the waitress because after all I am only one old lady. Here I was treated very nicely and was given the same amount if not more attention then the people at other tables. If you go in there for breakfast order 1/2 of a breakfast which is equivalent to full breakfast at other places.

Portions are huge, waitresses are friendly. Food is so good. Service was fast. Decor is cute. I don't have 1 bad think to say about this place.

We showed up here after we found out that Crystal Mountain was at capacity. I am glad that we stopped! The muffins here are amazing! This place should be called the muffin! Next time heading to the mountains I might just stop in for a muffin and some coffee before heading up to the slopes. Breakfast was great and there was more than enough to eat! Good food for great prices!
