A experience not to be missed; the food and drink options were extremely tasty, sounded authentic, and definitely different from everyday, 21st century fare; the periodic atmosphere even included tin cups; Abdthe friendly proprietor provided entertainment during the meal in the form of song and riddle.

The Boar's Head Inn is a quaint charming historical re-creation of a medieval village, their food is authentic to the time period, and delicious. Presented by costumed staff, You Are serenaded by a Minstrel while you dine. Don't expect a lot of pomp ( unless you attend one of their magnificent feasts) . If you like atmosphere, authenticity, great food, and a bit of a medieval serenade all wrapped up in living history you'll love The Boar's Head Restaurant in camlann medieval village.

Tiny portions for huge prices. Not that great of food. No prices upfront.

This restaurant is EXTREMELY authentic, down to the tiny saucers of juice or water, the fact that everything is served on a slab of bread or wood, and the extremely smoky atmosphere with poor ventilation. It's quite the experience! If you're really into history or want to try something different, go for it! If you want lovely food in a lovely atmosphere, maybe just check out the village and go somewhere else for dinner. Oh, and they serve lunch from noon to three when the village is open on weekends.

A Senior Group came to this enchanted place on a Mystery Trip. No would guest the location. We laughed, enjoyed the sining minstrel with a great voice and good verse. The food was good and it was served on our bread plate as it would have been in 1576 (may have the date wrong). An Adventure to be sure. Food was made fresh. NO FORKS! Good Mead and Ale. Do not be in a hurry. Enjoy the experience.
