The most amazing dinner we have had in ages. From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food, everything was absolutely wonderful. We did the tasting menu and so we were able to try four different dishes on the menu. My fiance and I have different tastes and were able to choose different selections from the menu and they came in smaller portions. Everything we tried was excellent. The sides on all of the dishes paired so well with the main piece. We weren't rushed at all and each course took its time to get to us so that we didn't fill up quickly. The prices are a little more expensive but actually very reasonable as you have the table for the evening. We will definitely be going back.

I had the seafood tagliatelle and it was incredible! The lobster they use was very good and flavorful. Highly recommended! 4/5/18- I went back and it was just as good as I remembered! This is on par with the best restaurants I have been to WORLDWIDE. It is unreal how good the pasta and steaks are. Our servers were very good both times. This is BY FAR the best restaurant I've been to in Washington.

The food was great, and the wait staff was friendly but completely unorganized. There were five of us there and we all ordered the 80/20 burger with some variances. The plates were laid down to the wrong people, but easily fixed, it took a while to get our bills after eating, then another 15 minutes to get our cards back once they took them. They were handed back individually to the wrong people rather than offering buy name or kept in order. This is probably not the norm and is not a big deal at all for each problem other than the wait but all together it ruined some of the experience. Also, we saw the owner and I originally thought the gold chains he wears were tacky but he explained them and I appreciate why he wears them. The restaurant is great and the management care about their customers. Update: I saw after posting this you respond to the reviews, that is totally awesome that you take that much care in your patrons views. I did not include your chains at all in my star rating and with that story I can appreciate them. I enjoyed your food and am looking forward to trying more of it. Thank you for your response and I commend you for your follow up! I'll be back and recommend your restaurant.

Well, I can certainly say without a doubt my husband and I picked the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary! The atmosphere was beautifully funky, and romantic. The waiter staff was as amazing and very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu! But my favorite part was the food, the steak to be exact! Was magnificent! I have high expectation when a restaurant says they are a steakhouse and Ricardo’s did not disappoint. Everything was exceptional, except my chocolate pot de creme. It was tasty absolutely but I was expecting a smooth consistency, this was not. None the less we will be returning again and again. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

I'm really not one to write restaurant reviews but being business owners ourselves, I felt it necessary to share our dining experience last night. We came in for our anniversary dinner looking forward to a special evening together. Upon entering, the hostess was no where to be found . After looking around for at least 5 min., a young, dark haired girl finally asked us "What can I do for you?". What can you do for us???? How about greeting us at the door with a smile on your face and maybe a "Good Evening!" or an enthusiastic "Welcome to Ricardos?" We asked to be seated outside as the patio was open and there were other patrons enjoying the warm evening. She then informed us that our table had already been set up inside. We sat inside, didn't see our server for 10 min. and waited just as long for our bottle of wine. We expected better from an "upscale" restaurant.
