Update for the new ownership: I was nervous when I heard they were changing owners. I loved, and still admire the original crew. Please trust that my review of the new version of the restaurant is earnest. This place is still the best. The new people are friendly, and talented, and the food is still my favorite. My original review stands. This is my favorite restaurant in America. Spicy Szechuan with veggie broth, and tofu garlic fried rice is a ticket to heaven, but really I've never had a non-exceptional soup here. Bring two containers per person for take-away.

First time stopped by and good impression. I think the owner uses good quality meat for their dishes. the owner is so proud of his church karaage, he served the karaage by himself and introduced how he made the karaage with five different sauces, and he keep asked about our opinions and said he will keep developing the taste. Glad the owner is the guy with true passion with making delicious food. The pork in Waikiki Ramen is so tender and juicy. Also the pork at the garlic fried rice is better than what I usually have at other restaurants. Their ramen is not that Japanese, of course, it's an Hawaiian restaurant. They have got their own style ramen and tasty. It's an decent and unique neighborhood restaurant. Worth to stop by.

The Best Ramen in Seattle! Hands down. Be aware: They're not open on Sunday or Monday and they don't do take out.

Delicious family run ramen shop located in a small plaza off the Lake City strip. No wait for a table and food was out in less than 15 mins despite being busy. Prices are reasonable and portions are larger than standard dishes offered at other ramen shops. Staff was very friend and will return again.
