On Mondays and Tuesdays they have .99 chicken or beef tacos and .99 domestic draft beer. Totally cool for a lunch break. They have other amenities during the week as well, but unfortunately it is all in bar. They have dinner specials too that the family can enjoy. They are reasonably priced and very friendly. Perfect for a family night out.

The best Mexican cuisine in Lake Stevens. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. It feels like a family operated business, which it may be, who really cares about their customers. Fresh hand made tortillas are excellent. Dollar tacos on Monday and Tuesday in the bar is well worth a trip. Great establishment!

Update: Removed stars, I had a fork of food in my mouth when the waiter took my plate and asked if I was done with the chips and salsa. Before I could even answer he took them too. I was there with another person and a 6 year old. We were all kinda stunned, it's not like we were loud or causing a scene, we were quietly eating and not even talking. We couldn't figure out what happened. Sure we were close to finishing our meal but I literally had my fork in my mouth and not finished. I am a quite and very calm person but this almost pushed me over the edge. It was midweek and not busy and they still rushed us out. I honestly want a refund, we had ordered some of the most expensive items on the menu to boot. Old Review: It's a decent place for decent Mexican food. The drinks are good, food is average and service is ok. It's my favorite local place to go when I don't feel like driving 20 minutes to other places. I would recommend to those who want to stay in the Lake Stevens area for dinner. Like my reviews? Give them a like! Thanks!

There is a Mexican restaurant on every block in Lake Stevens. Ixtapa is the best. Their Salsa is amazing. I'd judge an Italian spot by their marinara and a Mexican spot by their salsa. Two thumbs up! I'll even drive to the one in snohomish if I'm that way. The servers are so friendly, and smiley, and the food comes fast! Love them!

Food was great, but service was less than impressive. Before we sat down we were asked if we wanted drinks or just water, then when he went to get them another waitress came and asked the same question, then immediately asked if we were ready to order. Felt rushed the entire time. As soon as we were halfway done eating they wanted to know if we were done with the chips and salsa and ready for the bill.
