Always good food and good service. The views here are amazing. Enjoy watching the ferries coming and going. Outdoor seating on nice days. Family friendly and kids menu. There is also a fish bar outside. Fun to get fish and chips "to go" and head over to the light house for lunch/dinner at the beach.

Very good service and excellent food. Appetizers, main course and dessert were very good! Oysters on the half shell and halibut ceviche, extremely well prepared, very fresh and tasty! Steak with rice, simple tasty and tender, cooked perfectly. Possession sound Paella: absolutly to die for, so fresh that I could smell the light breeze of the open sea as I ate! Incredible! Can't beat raspberry burnt cream and a nice piece of caramel carrot cake for dessert! Would definitely come back for more.

The gorgeous view of the Sound is a nice perk but we go for the fresh seafood which is prepared and cooked to perfection. The service is friendly and professional. A NW institution, this Ivar's location is one of the top restaurants in the Seattle region.

A family favorite. Not quite the salmon house down in Fremont but a nice Ivar's dine-in location all the same. They have a festive bar with all the yummy apps and cocktails you know and love, and specialize in fresh fish as you'd expect. Although not fish n chips like their more well known, fast food style establishments. The halibut was pan seared in butter with fingerlings and watercress, and the salmon was topped with strawberries. Our servers are always cheerful and attentive. Good place for family, friends, and dates. They do take reservations, and you may need them on holidays, but most times you can get it without them and without a wait. Parking is free and out front in an ample lot right next to the ferry terminal.

My family met together for a birthday dinner. We had tasty appetizers, rich flavored coffee and yummy spirits. Our server Adrian was on it,she was awesome! I had salmon and then shared some tiramisu and salted caramel cheesecake. A shout out to Erin, you rock! I loved looking into the hatch! Thanks for a great evening!:)
