Typical Northwest Mexican. Translate that into "practically tastes like Banquet TV dinner Mexican." Having said that, the place has a friendly neighborhood feel with pleasant service that is generally efficient and usually quick. Very bland Mexican if you're from the Southwest and the ground beef is on the greasy side. For the kids, they at least have non Mexican food for them like a cheeseburger, but they don't have French fries too go with the "American"foods on the menu. Wish they had something more sure for kids' rates on the kids menu. They accommodate kids reasonably well and there is a tiny, private bar in the front that Jose's the drinking from the kids, although there's plenty of booze in the dining room anyway. I would not hesitate to go again being armed with the knowledge of what the food is going to be.

Stopped over Labor Day weekend on our way to the Gorge Amphitheater for a quick snack. Ana the owner came out and chatted with us a bit and some in our group tried the house margarita. Everyone loved it. We were so impressed we planned a stop on the way back. This time we sat in the bar where we met Jessica! We read a review that had mentioned her and she lives up to her reputation!! She was busy as the place was full and that girl can hustle! We will be back!!

I appreciate that they cut down on food waste by providing smaller (reasonable) portions of rice and beans
