When I first passed by the location, I never thought that it will have such affordable and yummy foods nor do I even know that the owner of the restaurant was Vietnamese. I just look at the front door menu and I found that many of the restaurant menus costs almost $10 for a meal at least. So I didn't come by. However, I found i was wrong. I took a second look at the restaurant and found the lunch special menu and decided to walk in to get a bite to eat. But man, the first entry was very good and addicting, the Egg Noodle with Wonton. Then I go for the Mom's Fried Rice and it got to the point that I want to order more. However, because the food is so good that I have to call myself a stop before I overeat and I end up not only eating $17 worth of food but also tip the restaurant additional money. I found that I came back and want to try again and again because the spice was not only tasty, but also the food was affordable in comparison to many other places. Furthermore, if I am a Vietnamese that speaks Vietnamese, I would get a discount from the owners and the people there. Thus, this is a very good experience. Overall,I highly recommend this place to anyone that is Vietnamese. It will make you crave for more.

Tasty meals, we all got lunch combo meals which were enough to fill us up (I'm a heavy eater). The single staff that we saw was very friendly and patient. The food was flavorful but a bit too salty/sweet and there was more oil than needed. Great spot in the area.

Consistent, good quality food. Their #12 (hot and sour soup) cures colds ;) I have had just a few long waits when dining at the location in the many times I have been to Basil Leaf, so be patient if they are packed.

Really good food and friendly service. I like that it's a small local spot and whenever we eat here it's never overly busy. With that said people are always in and out which is a good sign. I recommend Basil Leaf Restaurant too anyone looking for good Thai food that's reasonably priced and taste good.
