The view is great, that's about it for this place. At the menu prices I expected better quality food. The salad was very basic- lettuce, shredded carrots and slices of cucumber and some dried cranberries. My husband and I both ordered steaks We had to send both of them back because they were both severely undercooked. We ordered medium and medium well. They came out rare and medium rare. I had to send mine back 2 more times before it was an acceptable medium well. The service was good. The manager took one steak off the bill due to the repeated cooking. Bottom line for these prices I expected more than just an average meal. Outback steakhouse would have been cheaper and much better. Will not return to this restaurant.

I would like to thank Falls Terrace for one of the best meals of my life. Thank you so much for seating me and my mother in the back of the restaurant on a slow Sunday afternoon. Thank you for allowing us to sit at that table for a half hour without any contact of any sort, with the exception of the young man who silently filled our water glasses. Thank you for checking on the table directly next to us no less than three times in that half hour without even the smallest glance in our direction. And a personal thank you to each and every staff member who had their eyes fixated on the ground as we left the restaurant hungry, after a half hour of waiting for even a slight acknowledgement from an employee, let alone someone actually taking our order. Thank you so much because if it wasn't for this awful experience, we wouldn't have gone to Anthony's Homeport and had possibly the best meal of our lives with top notch hospitality from their employees. (Side note: our server at Anthony's also thanked you!) In all honesty, I would like to genuinely thank you, Falls Terrace. Because of your establishment, my mother and I were able to celebrate an early Mother's day with a fantastic meal that we will likely talk about for years. My grandma had loved going to Falls Terrace before she passed away in 2000 and that was the reason that I wanted to take my mom there; sort of a celebration of the two women in my life who raised me and made me the person I am now. But it appears that your business model has changed since my grandma was alive. And much like my sweet Grandma Kitty, we will not be seeing the inside of your restaurant again in this lifetime.

I used to takedates here when I was in high school 40 years ago. It was great back then. News flash... it is still a wonderful restaurant with amazing views of the falls, very attentive service and good food. My son's and I had a great time!

Breathtaking view of the falls. Great food. Friendly and efficient service. What's not to like?!? Started in the dining room but moved to the lounge since we didn't want a full meal. Dinner menu looked very appetizing though. Prices are in the higher range. I think the rib eye was $40. But it's an upscale place. Tablecloths, cloth napkins, quality cutlery. Candles, ambiance and floor to ceiling windows all along the view side. Oysters in the lounge were great. We caught happy hour prices so the drinks were reasonable. Had a great time with a great friend. Will definitely be back.

I give it 2 stars for the view. Falls Terrace was the "Go To" place for many years. I took my prom date there 50 years ago and had many upscale dinners over the decades since. Arrived at the dinner hour and it was not as noisy as it used to be, because it was only 1/3 full. Surprised to see the menu prices $10 higher per entree than Anthony's or Hearthfire. My wife ordered a steak - I think - It didn't look like a steak. I had Seafood pasta. Her vegetables were mushy and inedible, salad dry and old, bacon bits from a Costco shaker can. She wanted to order salmon, but the server said they had none that was wild, only farmed. No drinks, no desert, $75 with the tip - And I'm still feeling violated the next day. Falls Terrace was a treasure for Tumwater and I am hoping someone can turn it around before they are gone forever. I'll wait a few years to see the parking lot full before I try it again.
