The service is "bi-polar" (for lack of a better word) - either really friendly or overtly rude. The only consistency in the service is how painfully SLOW it is, regardless of how packed or totally empty the place is. The food is usually decent, sometimes even good. The portions are larger than most other "home-style" places which the guys love; personally though, I would prefer quality over quantity. It's popular with the "after church crowd," so if you go on a Sunday, be prepared to wait for a table. It's also trending with the "pensioners" crowd, because of both the 'old-school charm' and the ¿reliably? spice-lacking food. So why do we go back? Hell, I don't know. Probably because they are clean, comfortable, and, well, *there.* And there's not a lot to choose from in the area.

Ive driven by this place sooo many times yet had never tried it. I finally took my family and boy do we feel like we have been missing out. The food was really good and the customer service was great. Our waitress was extremely patient and dry helpful. Our food came out in a timely manner and the portions were very generous. Pricing is great too. We will definitely be coming back.

Family Pancake House has a wonderful crew of employees that not only have a tremendous work ethic they're extremely warm and friendly as well. I've been coming here for many years now and this restaurant, has and is, very consistent in how they present themselves as a business and how they treat their customers. Wonderfully. 5 stars!

Amazing place 9 times out of 10 they get my egg right. A medium well the other 1 time I'll end up with yoke all over the place when I bite into the sandwich but other than that the food is amazing fairly quick ticket time especially considering the number of mouths coming through that place on a weekend morning. I will say sometimes it's a challenge to get your ticket or boxes to go but definitely understandable again with the amount of bodies in that place although it does make you feel sometimes like "well they're done making money off me now I'm at the bottom of the priority list" but small potatoes, not enough to change the overall rating.
