I was consistently impressed throughout my meal. The customer service was excellent - a neighboring table spilled some water, and there were two staff at the table with towels within ten seconds, despite the table being one of the least visible for staff. The food was excellent! Good prices, and the best steak I've had outside of some very, very high end restaurants. Overall a memorable experience.

Lisa is an amazing server. My husband and I had dinner with friends of ours. Lisa made our dinner experience amazing. You cant train or teach someone customer service. Lisa is an amazing server. I truly hope her employer recognizes her abilities and realizes she is one of a kind. Thank you Lisa.. your one of a kind. We will be back to see you. The food was great but our service was amazing. This was our family's first visit to Melrose. And it was awesome! Great environment. Perfect dinner orders. Our wait person was Reyna and she provided us with outstanding service. We'll definitely visit again!

Service was great! Food was okay. Steak was a great cut of quality meat, but it was cooked unevenly. The potatoes tasted a little funny. Normally you can't keep me away from potatoes, but I couldn't eat these. The sausage was difficult to chew, but very tasty, and the sauerkraut tasted like rancid oil. The Caesar salad and the wine were great. The dirty martini didn't have a drop off olive juice and tasted extra watery. The setting is delightfully low key, and I liked the atmosphere.

My friend was here from California so I made a reservation at the Melrose my favorite restaurant. We were seated immediately and our waiter, Michael brought us our menus right away and took our drink orders. When he came back he told us the specials but we both had already decided to have the petite filet. I always have the beef steak tomato salad & she had a green salad. One of the owners, Franco brought us our salads & I told him my friend was here from California and I wanted to take her for the best steak ever so here we were. Our food arrived and everything was delicious. Our steaks were tender and cooked to perfection. The service was wonderful. On the way out my friend told Franco it was the best steak she had ever had. Enough said the Melrose is fantastic!
