The food is absolutely wonderful. Meals are properly proportioned and well prepared. The staff are attentive and courteous and it is not difficult to find the adult in the adult beverages. I highly recommend the French onion soup. You have to wait for this dish because it is prepared from scratch after it is ordered. Believe me it is worth the wait!

You can see this is a place that's been around a long time, it could use some upgrades, the food was good, service good, prices reasonable.

Great neighborhood restaurant. The staff knows most or all of their patrons, remembers what they usually eat, drink preferences and etc. Great steaks, lambchops, pasta dishes.

Thr parking lot is cramped and usually full from the bar patrons. The restaurant interior is dated, the food is consistently good, but the service is terrible. We had reservations for a party of 10 set up in advance, but they seemed surprised to see us and had nothing set up. They brought us bread and butter, but no bread plates. Coffee was ordered by 3 people but not brought, we had to ask again for it when she came to take our order. We had to go find the waitress to take the order, it took 3 reminders to get her. If the service improved, the amount of my tip and the stars in my review would increase.
