Went a few months ago on a Saturday around lunch based on reviews and on being in the area. Appears to be kind of a hang out for older Sequim folks which is great but I don't think a real assessment of the food is being made by them. The mood inside the cafe was tense. Everyone was mad - waitresses, cooks, and definitely guests. Here's why: Owner cut back on cooks and waitresses to save money and the wait for mediocre food was extreme. Many people that had ordered left after 45 minutes or so of waiting. I wish we had. The owner was probably out playing golf and threw his team here under the bus to deal with angry customers. What a fool. We finally got our food and McDonalds would have been a better choice.

My family and I really enjoy the Mariner Cafe. All of the people from the owner to all of the employees are very friendly to each customer. It's nice to be welcomed when you walk in the door and thanked when you leave. We have always enjoyed everything we have ordered.

Ordered what I presumed was a real turkey dinner only to discover it was sliced deli fare if you call it meat. New here and was also referred so gave it a chance. They gave a discount for what I couldn't eat(the fake deli fare). Please consider roasting real quality turkey beings it's a every day item of which the majority of us prefer all While protecting your reputation for quality. Susan oliver

We came for breakfast on a weekend The food was ok, the service was great. Nothing was wrong with our meals, but nothing is calling us back either. The country gravy was bland and the swedish pancakes were tough. Food came out quickly and our coffee cups were kept full.
