We just tried this place on a whim and ended up really enjoying our dining experience thanks to many factors. The restaurant itself is very nice and trendy with a warm and fun feel. The cocktail and wine selections were very nice also. Our server, Brad, was such a personable and fun loving guy that our whole table enjoyed. He really made our experience special. The live music was a nice touch too! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to go out and have a good time. :)

Loved it! I went around 1 pm so i happened to have the place to myself for lunch. I ordered the crab chowder and their Caesar salad. I will normally avoid nuts in salad for some reason but the roasted pecans inthe Caesar were great. Also perfectly portioned, I left full! I will be back. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

My wife and I dined here without a reservation and we were seated immediately by very friendly staff. My wife ordered the lobster fettuccini Alfredo and I ordered the duck. The food was fantastic and prepared with excellent presentation and the portions left us both extremely happy. I am extremely picky when it comes to fine dining and yet I had no problem with paying the100 dollars to take my lovely wife out to a fantastic dinner experience. Dinner came out to around 75 dollars and 25$ for a well deserved tip. I recommend Scratch to everyone!

Washington state law requires all employers to PAY for working interviews if they are working(he was preparing food not just observing). Which is exactly what Scratch's snobby owner and employees don't seem to understand. My boyfriend came in last Friday for an interview and had the head chef Brad call him less than 15 minutes later because a cook apparently "called in sick" and asked him to work until 8:30 and they both agreed on pay to be $14/hour but didn't have him fill out a W-2. Brad then said he'd make his decision by Wednesday. Cool. So we waited and Wednesday came, called Scratch and the so called manager told my boyfriend that Brad doesn't work until the weekend. Hmm then yesterday and today (Friday) he apparently was working... Brad left him a message at 6pm telling him he didn't get the job and talked to the boss,Steve about pay. Steve called my boyfriend to tell him they don't honor their word and that Brad has no hiring rights or able to agree on pay. Then why was Brad interviewing? Brad did not mention that it was a working interview, but FILLING IN AND WOULD BE PAID. If your staff is this incompetent your business deserves to fail. You have 3 star food because your head chef doesn't know what he's doing. Maybe if you hired my boyfriend, you actually would have had 5-star food. Shady and incompetent to say the least.

Ok, my honest issue here is my fear of writing a good review and having this become the most popular restaurant! The food and service was the best I've had in Spokane.
