Cozy family owned place. Mother and daughter run the dining room and Dad cooks in the back. Kim is super friendly and kind. Great food! Very tasty bulgolgi and soups. I have been eating here for years and it’s my favorite place to take family and friends. There are some dishes that are gluten free and everyone can find something they like.

So good that we ended up going there twice on our short weekend visit. Wonderful home-style setting. Can't wait to go back.

The kimchi pancake is amazing along with their beef bulgogi was so great that even my very picky boys loved it! Their hospitality was also amazing. I came in to order for my daughter who was in the car... They knew by the order who it was for! Love this place and the people!!!

Growing up with 3 adopted Korean sisters, my folks went to great lengths to integrate the culture of their heritage into our lives. So, I am no stranger to Korean food. This being said, Kim's Restaurant is the absolute best, my favorite Korean food of all-time. The restaurant is very traditional and run by a mother and daughter team. The daughter is a fun mix of genuine, honest and quirky and has always brought a smile to our face. Her mother is a gracious hostess who will remember you the second time you come back. Before moving away from Spokane, we ate here at least once a month for over a decade. There is no other restaurant in Spokane County that I can say that about. Once, while returning from a long trip, we called in an order to go minutes before they closed. They kept their doors open for us for an extra 25 minutes, not even realizing we were regular customers. If you are not feeling adventurous, stick with the Japchae made with potato noodles and marinated beef and vegetables or the Bulgogi (marinated grilled beef with stir fried vegetables and rice). The Mandoo (dumplings similar to won-tons) are excellent too. For the more daring, there are some excellent traditional dishes (try the Pike). I am a huge fan of Kimchi and theirs is first rate. Living in a small coastal Oregon town now, Kim's is the one restaurant in all of Spokane that we miss the most. Thank you for a decade of always consistent quality, we miss you both!!

The best Korean I've ever had. The atmosphere was like being at the owner's home. The side dishes were plentiful and a huge assortment (9 dishes). I had the seafood tofu soup and hubby had the oxtail soup and grilled beef shortribs. Excellence and quality was in everything we consumed, including the tea and water service. The prices were very reasonable considering the portions and included purple rice and side dishes. What a nice surprise for my visit to Spokane.
