My wife and I stopped in for a shake and to see what the place looked liked these days (we lived in the area twenty or so years ago). While we were waiting for our shakes we caught sight of particularly appealing French fries coming out with the sandwiches and had to order some. Easily among our favorite fries anywhere - and if you knew how many fries we've eaten all over the place, well, you'd be suprised we were still alive. Anyway. What I'm saying is the fries and shakes are fantastic. Come in and sit along the counter toward the back - lots of medicinal curiosities in the cases to ponder over while you enjoy your meal.

Immediately as you walk in you are welcomed by cute decor, friendly faces and great smells. If you want the best brunch on the west coast come here. I also recommend you also come for breakfast and just stay through lunch because it will be worth it! Recommend the Florentine.

Definitely a go-to place for me when I have the time to dine casually on nice days. The food is always predictably delicious, and the menu has enough variety for most people to eat happy. Service is sort of slow, so expect to take your time. You'll be surrounded by interesting - well, really fascinating - items from the years when this building was a drug store, post office, and other sundry uses. There's rumours about ghostly activity at night - ask the owner any questions, they're happy to tell you about the items, history and details.

The weather was nice for sitting outside. 3 cold sandwiches and 1 salad took an hour. 1 refill on the water when the food emerged. There was 4 groups of customers in the place. Enough oil in The French fries to lube a kenworth. Pretty dissapointed, especially after reading all of the good reviews .
