A soul food restaurant very similar to places in the American South. Very soft catfish, wide variety of sides, incredible corn bread, sausage could be the best in the city. Theme of rythm and blues is unique and colorful. Great music played throughout restaurant. Awesome service, lots of passion.

Natasha hosted my rehearsal dinner (September 15, 2016) and I just realized I never rated her! Natasha and her staff were amazing and the food was to die for! She also was able to donate the leftovers to a local womans shelter because there was just too much to take with us. There is nothing bad to say about this place. I wish her nothing but the best and this location as well as her new one. Thank you Natasha!!! (:

Best comfort food in town. Everything is tasty.. everything! So you can change your order every visit. And never be disappointed. Ever! I leave stuffed to the gills every time and go into a slight food coma after. Don’t judge me..

Went at 4p after a show at the PAC. The place felt a little dirty, maybe because of all the grease in the air. Our party of 5 was quickly seated and our drink and food order taken promptly. We ordered 2 pulled pork meals, 2 chicken and waffle meals and 1 1 meat plate. After one hour of waiting our waitress came out to tell us that they were out of pulled pork. So we ordered 2 chicken grilled cheese. After another 25 minutes our food came out. The waffles were almost black they were so over cooked and the chicken that came with them were 2 small legs and 1 meatless wing. The 1 meat platter had 8-10 meatless wings. The grilled cheese chicken sandwiches were not good. There was VERY little chicken, mostly skin, on the Texas toast and a bone as well. The hush puppies were flavorful but hard and dry, very over fried. We really wanted this to be good, however it was not.

Awesome music paired with a wonderful atmosphere and great food. The service was good as well, our party of 7 was seated promptly and orders were taken/received in a fast manner. The portions are great and the food is as well. Everyone enjoyed their time here, and be prepared to bring home some leftovers. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some unique flavors and "cozy" vibes.
