Apple Tree is an old-fashioned independent diner. The waitresses are always friendly and accommodating of special requests. It's popular for lunch and the Friday fish fry is delicious with large portions of fish. I had baked fish which came with soup or salad and choice of potato. Pies and cakes are kept in a glass-fronted refrigerator near the front door so you can see what you're getting. Parking is adequate but the lot is not spacious so large vehicles don't have a lot of room to maneuver if they're really busy like Friday nights--perfectly ok to park on the street. I really recommend this local business.

My husband and I just went there for the first time todat. Skylar was our waitress and her service was phenomenal. She made sure our cups were full and stopped by often to ask how everything was overall. The food was great! I had their Cinnamon French Toast Combo and my husband had the Texas Burger and added French fries and soup for $1. He loved his burger; It had grill marks and was a really nice size overall. The fries were crispy and really tasty too. The cinnamon French toast may have been the best French toast I've ever eaten. The crust of it had some sort of glaze on it that added tons of flavor. You know how sometimes the middle of the bread is soggy and eggy? Well somehow the middle piece was buttery and delicious. The Pricing was very reasonable and the options seemed endless on the menu. We left stuffed and definitely plan to make the drive back to eat there again. Definitely one of the best family restaurants we have ever eaten at.

Understanding this is a diner, the good was great. Super tasty burger, affordable pricing ($1 for fries and soup). Good service, fairly quick. Update: Been here often, pretty much everything I've had has been good. Waffles are excellent. Soups are good, kids like all the options on the kids menu.

Best place to eat, been all over wisoncisn you will not find a better place than the apple tree. Did I mention the food and owner are in a class in their own.. everything I've had here has been the best. Other places don't even compare.

A warm welcome, plenty of freshly brewed coffee, generous portions of delicious well-made meals. We had the Mediterranean Skillet and the Chick-a-Dilly Skillet - both skillets had a good balance of meat and veg, nicely seasoned. We have enjoyed the Friday fish options on several occasions and are never disappointed. Already looking forward to our next visit!!
