My friend's and family love going to Irv's Mug. The bartenders are lovely, the service is great. However, the karaoke DJ named Steve has got to go. We have waited 2 hrs for one person in our party to sing a song while others have sung multiple times. I am writing this at 12:45 am in Irv's Mug right now. We arrived at 9:45 and we only sang once. It's not even busy. He plays music videos in between singers when people just want to sing. Multiple people have left in frustration.

We have been here once or twice before. Always busy. And the reason? Great food, great service. Excellent beer choices. Two beer menus. I had a New Holland Dragons Milk Imperial Stout. Great food and plenty of it. Fish fry includes soup. French Onion or Clam Chowder.

Good food. Good atmosphere. Great service. Lots of craft beer choices. Fish fry has been historically greesy but loved by many. Rubin sandwich and coleslaw are a sure thing. Prices are fair.

Erv's is our favorite restaurant and Oak Creek's hidden gem. Even with all the new restaurants coming to town no one can compete with the great food and hometown atmosphere at Erv's Mug. You need to stop in on Tuesday for a Garbage Sandwich (it's amazing) or really any day for a crock of baked French Onion Soup (the best you'll ever have!). Actually.. writing this review is making me hungry so I'll probably go in tonight for their Friday Fish Fry.

Excellent fish fry, good prices. I haven't had a fish fry this good in a long time. People working there were great!
