Not impressed. First, I had an original margarita that tasted like it was made with a cheap, sugary mix. Second, our experience was terrible. We went in for a drink around 9:00p on a Monday and there were a few staff members standing around near the bar. All staff members turned to look at us as we walked in and sat down, and I heard one of them say "why are they coming in this late?" We asked if they were closing and got a chilly response from the bartender "well the kitchen is closed." So we proceeded to sit down, have a drink, and watch the last few innings of the Brewers game. We assumed that since they close at 12, it would be fine to stay for a few drinks. While we were still sitting at the bar, the server proceeded to turn most of the lights off, and the bartender stood in front of us at the bar and watched us finish our drinks impatiently. We finally decided to leave after the game because we were so uncomfortable. I was very taken aback after hearing such great things about Calientes, and I can day for certain I will not be back.

We usually do an early dinner. Jess was there and is a great bartender. We ordered and ate at the bar. A very good meal, excellent service and wonderful staff! Thank you!

Terrible! Salsa is bland! Chimmi was small and not good! Need real name brand hot sauce on the table if your not capable of making anything good. Is the owner really interested in making money?

Service was excellent but the food was not very authentic. Chips were good but the salsa reminded me of something you would get at a grocery store.

Horrible overpriced Mexican imitation food. Here is a list of better Mexican restaurants in Green Bay...El Local, El Sarape, Vintage Cantina, Taco Burrito Mexico (These are all great) My dinner at this place tasted like someone threw leftovers in a microwave and served it as real food. Disgusting. Overpriced. Salty. If it wasn't for the salt I'd say tasteless.
