We came for Sunday morning drinks. Eli was our bartender, and he was very knowledgeable about the whiskey flights. They even have a Japanese whiskey flight, and all three of them were extremely smooth! Sara was the manager, and she made us feel very welcomed and was wonderful! I’ve been here a few times for food and drinks, and I have never had a bad experience. 10/5 stars! 😃

One of my favorite restaurants anywhere. The bartenders are knowledgeable about their interesting cocktails and their superb wine list. The open kitchen is great fun to watch, and the chef and cooks are personable and conversational when not super busy. Everyone here takes pride in great food in an enjoyable atmosphere whether for a beer with friends or a fine meal with a partner. Highly recommended. If you're someone who appreciates Chicago or Minneapolis style fine food and drinks at a MUCH more reasonable price, still made from the finest local-fish ingredients by cool people who love what they do, pull off I-94 and visit The Informalist.

This a great place that's upscale and has very unique food that is always changing on the menu. They make their own beet ketchup for their fries. It's has a great atmosphere and relaxing setting in downtown eau Claire. Will definitely becoming back when we pass through again.

We ate here for the New Year's Eve and ordered the prix-fixe menu. At $75/person and 5 courses we expected some amazing food. It was good, but not at the level we were expecting. The live piano playing made the atmosphere and experience worthwhile. We'd still come here again, just ordering the amazing looking hamburgers.

The best burger I have ever had, without question. Everyone else raved about their orders (esp. the flatbread) as well. The decor and knowledgable staff rounded out a fantastic dining experience.
