Great place for college eats or real meals. Going in the afternoon, El Patio has a full menu with great options at good prices. The food is delicious and well prepared, the chips and salsa are endless, and the margaritas can't be beat. Going at night, El Patio turns into a Water Street bar packed with college students and home to a good time. Arrive late enough and most of the kitchen is closed down but burritos are still available and they're delicious whether you've been drinking or not.

Horrible. I went here with a friend to get tacos. We ordered 5 tacos and the wait took more than a half hour. The veggie tacos I got were bland and chewy, an embarassment. We then order guacamole which took another half hour to arrive and cost me 8 DOLLARS. It too was unseasoned and nearly tastless. The service at this place was horrendous. I had information from my friend that the owner's daughter was serving us. Probably the worst waitress I've ever had. Incredibly rude, short tempered, even contemptuous at times. She obviously knew very little about customer service. I'll never eat here again.

Fantastic food during the day and a great deal at night. Classic, cheap, and delicious margaritas. Most who eat here come during the bar rush for a drink filler or a pregame party, and while it can get loud and rowdy, it's still a great place for some shots and food. The best time to come, however, is during the day. The food is a great taste of Mexico and a fantastic bang for your buck. Currently they have the best chili relleno in the city and while not the same as a plate across the border, definitely more authentic than anywhere else in the city. My only really complaint is how crazy and messy it gets at night, but that's just one of the downsides of being one of the best places to go after bar close.

When someone tells the bar tender that they want a natural margarita with no margarita mix because of the colors, then you get your drink and can tell it's the mix and you confront and they tell you you are wrong and argue with you that I didn't say I didn't want the mix when that's what I stated. Then told me I should have told him about my Andrey allergic but that's why I stated no margarita mix and he served me like it was how I said to make it. Then I asked for the manager and he claimed he was. No. A manager would be more professional. Smfh
